Turkey Burgers are seriously underrated…
But I hope this recipe changes that. Few tips, give it some character! It’s easy for these guys to get bland so make sure you’re doing your part. Diced apple, diced red onion and some spices help add some pop and texture. The sweetness from the apples just works here, you’ll never want another one any other way. This is more of a guideline than a recipe so make it a couple times and adjust according to your taste.
Ingredients:
Diced apple
Diced red onion
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Herbs de Provence
Celery salt
Pinch of kosher salt
You can do these on the grill or in a hot skillet or cast iron, just give it a quick grease as turkey is pretty lean and doesn’t have a ton of fat. Duck fat should do the trick 😉
Toppings are totally up to you, but I can’t have a turkey burger without honey mustard, idk 🤷🏻♂️

Tomatoes
Salt (ALWAYS salt your tomatoes on any burger or sando)

There’s just something about a toasted English muffin on a turkey burger that just hits different than other buns. Potato rolls are always a safe bet but again, you just can’t beat it!
